Burlington’s cocoa connection is rooted in its relationship with Nestle USA, a Swiss food company that built a factory in Burlington in 1966. With the desire to celebrate both chocolate and Nestle USA’s 20th year anniversary in Burlington, a chocolate festival was developed in 1987 featuring live entertainment and the world’s largest Crunch Bar.

Each year, thousand of visitors flock to the festival to sample various forms of chocolate and view impressive chocolate creations or sculptures. ChocolateFest features carnival rides, live music, a Chocolate Experience Tent, and much more! For more information about the festival, please visit their website at ChocolateFest is a separate non-profit organization and inquires should be directed to the ChocolateFest Operations Committee.
